After a day filled with Christmas music, shopping and putting up the tree it was time to get the taste of Christmas… And obviously have some fun!
Our gingerbread men were pretty simple to make and only took about 15 minutes to cook, so if you have some spare time definitely make some.
They tasted amazing and we managed to make loads more than what the recipe originally stated, which is always a bonus.
If you would like to try them out here is the recipe.
Last weekend it was finally time … Finally time to blast the Christmas songs, eat some pigs in blankets and put the tree up. I was so excited!
After looking for a few weeks we bought a brand new 7ft tree, gold LED lights and gold and red decorations. Due to this taking place in October/ November I had too put them in to storage and wait for the first weekend in December before they were allowed to make an appearance.
We started by following the instructions and clipping each section of the tree together (which took longer than expected), this was followed by placing all 1000 led lights around each layer of the tree. It was then time for the main event – putting the decorations on. Due to my hate for anything being uneven we had to make sure all decorations were in pairs and symmetrical.
After about three hours this was finally achieved!
